Kate's Place in Harrison, Maine is one of my favorite places. We've been fortunate enough to spend time there as a family for two vacations.
Butch and Sue are two of my favorite people and
they
opened their home to SMA families to get away from their regular lives
and enjoy some relaxing time on a beautiful lake. Sadly, Sue passed
away a couple of years ago and is greatly missed by many. I'm very
thankful that we were able to spend time there and hang out with Butch
and Sue by the campfire and enjoy some s'mores and some laughs. And
we'll always remember the adventure we had on the lake when the motor on
the pontoon boat failed and we were stranded in the middle of the lake!
(remember we have two boys that rely on batteries for ventilation and
suction!). We also loved taking the boys to the wild life park. So
many memories were made and will be cherished.
