Colin turns 11!

Colin is now double 1s!  I think it makes it sound even more exciting when you say it this way, hee hee.  Anyway, it was a good day.  We were all pretty tired but we able to enjoy the day.  Colin was wide-eyed when the kids in school sang him Happy Birthday complete with cha cha chas and "how old are you nows."

After school Colin watched some movies and was quite happy just hanging with Aunt Chris for a while.

Casey came home hollering.  I guess he had a loud day all around and had to have some time outs and leave the class.  He is pooped!   He relaxed for a while, showered and got up in his chair to celebrate.  Well, he demanded his football videos and still was demanding for us to change the video even when we gave him what he requested.  Tough times for him.

Gene brought Moxie to the vet for her shots and checkup.  Apparently she was wild.  Gene warned the doc and the doc skimmed through her chart and all over the notes was WARNING, WARNING!  I guess they were lucky to even give her the shots and check her ears (she needs some drops for something-or-other).  Couldn't check her mouth, couldn't examine her well and didn't even attempt her nails.  She came home and was as normal and loving as usual.  Nugget is next.

Gene went out again and picked up Colin's birthday balloons from Hannaford's.  Thank you, Connie, Justin and Daniel!

Time to celebrate.  Balloons, some pictures, gifts, cards and that was enough for Colin.  Wii please!  Nurse Julie played his new game, Poke Park 2 (Aunt Chris) and they all enjoyed that.  He also got The Secret Saturdays wii, (us) and The Tooth Fairy 2 DVD (Aunt Chris), and a gift card to Game Stop (thank you Nurse Lauren).  The rest of the gifts will wait until Sunday when we celebrate Easter, Grandma O'Neills birthday and have a second celebration for Colin.

Oh, and he opened the Adventure Time tee shirt from Casey and was not too thrilled.  I hope Casey wasn't disappointed.  I'm sure Colin likes it but just really doesn't care much about clothes these days.

Happy Birthday song, candles and cake came next.  Colin let Casey put out only ONE candle.  He really tends to be a little selfish--so different than Casey!
